Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026  ·  Last updated: September 28, 2026

Hilltop Companies (“Hilltop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you. It applies to hilltopcompanies.com, our online forms, our text messaging program, and other interactions where we link to this policy.

By using our website or providing information to us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information through it.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

We collect personal information when you choose to give it to us — for example, when you request a quote, contact us, apply for credit, apply for a job, or opt in to text messages. Depending on the interaction, this may include:

  • Contact details: name, company or organization, job title, mailing address, email address, and telephone or mobile number.
  • Project and order details: job site address, delivery dates, product and mix requirements, quantities, and related notes you provide.
  • Billing and credit information: billing address, purchase order or account numbers, trade references, tax exemption certificates, and information submitted on a credit application. We do not collect full payment card numbers through this website.
  • Employment information: resume, work history, certifications and licenses, and other details you submit through a job application.
  • Messaging preferences: your mobile number and your consent status for SMS text messages, including the date, time, and method of consent.
  • Correspondence: the content of emails, form submissions, text messages, or voicemails you send us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, certain information is collected automatically by our servers and by analytics technologies:

  • IP address, general geographic location derived from it, and internet service provider
  • Browser type and version, operating system, and device type
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the referring website
  • Date and time of your visit
  • Cookie identifiers and similar technologies (see Section 6)

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from our customers or their representatives (for example, a contractor providing a site contact’s phone number for delivery coordination), from credit reporting agencies in connection with a credit application, and from publicly available business sources.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following business purposes:

  • To respond to you — answering inquiries, preparing quotes, and providing requested information.
  • To provide products and services — scheduling and coordinating ready-mix concrete and aggregate deliveries, communicating job site logistics, and managing your account.
  • To send text messages you have consented to receive, such as delivery notifications, scheduling updates, and account or service messages (see Section 4).
  • To process billing and credit — invoicing, collections, credit evaluation, and financial recordkeeping.
  • To evaluate employment applications and communicate with candidates.
  • To operate and improve our website — measuring performance, diagnosing technical problems, and understanding how visitors use the site.
  • To protect our business — preventing fraud, securing our systems, and enforcing our terms and agreements.
  • To comply with law — meeting tax, safety, environmental, transportation, employment, and other legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

4. SMS Text Messaging Program

Consent

Hilltop sends text messages only to individuals who have expressly opted in — for example, by checking a consent box on a web form, submitting a written request, or replying to a confirmation message. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Hilltop. We record the date, time, and method of your consent.

Types of messages you may receive

  • Delivery scheduling, dispatch, and job site coordination updates
  • Order confirmations and changes
  • Account, billing, and service notifications
  • Responses to questions you send us by text

Message frequency, rates, and carriers

  • Message frequency varies based on your account activity and orders.
  • Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Our SMS program is available on most major U.S. carriers.

Opting out and getting help

  • To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further messages unless you opt in again.
  • For help, reply HELP to any message, or email privacy@hilltopcompanies.com.
  • Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of phone calls or email; contact us directly to change those preferences.

How we handle SMS data

Mobile numbers and consent records collected for our text messaging program are used solely to operate that program. As stated in Section 3, SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Vendors who help deliver our messages act only on our instructions and may not use your number for any other purpose.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law, contract, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Business and transaction records are generally retained for the period required by applicable law and our internal retention schedule. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program and for a reasonable period afterward to demonstrate compliance.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and understand site usage. These include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies that enable core site functions such as form submission and security.
  • Analytics cookies that help us measure traffic and improve the site. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we do not use cookies to serve targeted advertising.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the site function. You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google’s browser add-on.

Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as no common industry standard for these signals has been adopted.

7. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include access controls, multi-factor authentication for company accounts, encrypted transmission of website form data, and ongoing monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

  • Confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy of it
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request deletion of personal data we hold about you
  • Obtain a portable copy of data you provided to us
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling

If we decline your request, you may appeal by writing to us at the same address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Attorney General of your state to submit a complaint.

You may also opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
